musicJAPANplus interview o(≧∀≦)o

We were very happy with this interview, mostley because of this →

" takuya: Because apparently the Dutch team and the Belgian team are working together on this project, I think it's a shame that we don't have a concert scheduled in Belgium. We really want to try our best to have a gig in Belgium, too on our next tour. "

" yu-ki: Thank you very much for the interview, I enjoyed it a lot. Next time we will try to visit even more European countries, besides the Netherlands and Belgium. And I hope to see you back really soon. "

During their most recent world tour, AN CAFE took the time to sit down with the World Team members of MJP for various interviews and this is the first interview we would like to present you.

On November 9th, the band has visited the Netherlands.
Please enjoy this interview in a series with more to come!

I:Hello.

AN CAFE: Hello!

I: The tour is titled "TADAIMA-OKAERI". How do you feel you've been welcomed by your European fans up until now?

Teruki: Well, it's our third tour in Europe, but also our first tour after our hiatus. In the first place we want to show the Cafe-kkos that we are back, which is why we chose that title

I: This is AN CAFE's first time in Amsterdam, have you had the opportunity to go sightseeing yet?

Miku: Yes, we have. I was really glad we got the day off yesterday. We've already had a lot of fun in Amsterdam!

I: MJP will be checking out the fashion of the Cafe-kko's coming to the lives. What are your impressions of what you have seen so far?

Miku: The people in the Netherlands, and especially in Amsterdam are really well-dressed. I think that you two (the interviewers) are looking very nice as well! There is a difference between the Asian and European Cafe-kkos but we think that our fans here look great as well.

I: During the tour you will be holding VIP parties before the beginning of the actual concert, where the fans will have the opportunity to have tea with you. How is it to meet your fans this way?

Takuya: Actually we haven't had a lot of time to have direct contact with the fans, but we enjoyed the time that we could spend together with them a lot.

I: This time the fans got to vote for the songs they wanted to be on the set list. Were there songs that appeared to be more popular than you had expected, or songs you really liked that weren't chosen as often as you thought they would be?

Miku: Yes, we were very surprised, actually. We were wondering why the Cafe-kko had chosen exactly those songs and not some other songs instead. And we also started to worry about the amount of songs that got selected at the end.

Teruki: In total there were 51 songs that could be voted for. After the voting we composed a setlist and according to the reactions of the fans we adopted it well when the show was over.

I: A lot has happened in the last two years. Is there something different that we might expect from AN CAFE on this tour?

Miku: Well, this tour was quite surprising, so that's why we hadn't prepared anything in particular. But now that you ask us about it, you made me start to wonder about what we could do to surprise our Cafe-kkos.

I: Is there something you miss when you are touring? Do you take something special along with you from Japan?

Miku: I always bring facial masks with me. I've brought enough to last 30 days! (laughs)

Yu-ki: I like to bring sweets from Japan.

I: Have you tried European candy?

Yu-ki: Yes, and I really like the Kinder surprise chocolate eggs! (everybody laughs) I love white chocolate!

Takuya: I took vitamin supplements with me.

Kanon: My iPod! And I also like to read on the tour bus so I always make sure I carry enough books with me.

Teruki: Well, I'm not so sure what to tell you anymore, because you guys already said everything I could think of. I brought my camera with me, but you also took that with you, right? (miku begins to whistle and everybody starts laughing) Well, I took some DVDs with me this time.

Kanon: What kind of DVDs? (laughs)

Teruki: Lately I like to watch "Suiyou dou deshou?" (Translated as "How will Wednesday be?")

I: Lastly, do you have a message for the readers of MJP?

Yu-ki: Er... (laughs nervously)

Kanon: Wait, I'll start! Well, first of all thank you very much for reading this interview! I hope that this made you interested in AN CAFE and that you will want to try listening to our music too.

Miku: I'm a also a big fan and reader of coolJAPAN-

Takuya: coolJAPAN? It's musicJAPANplus, isn't it?

Miku: Is it? Oh yes, of course! (everybody laughs) I also read MPJ's articles in Japan! So it would make me very happy if MJP's readers would also read this article of us.

Takuya: Because apparently the Dutch team and the Belgian team are working together on this project, I think it's a shame that we don't have a concert scheduled in Belgium. We really want to try our best to have a gig in Belgium, too on our next tour.

Teruki: I am very glad to play in Amsterdam for the very first time, and if you guys will like the show tonight, I will really try to do my best to come back next time!

Yu-ki: Thank you very much for the interview, I enjoyed it a lot. Next time we will try to visit even more European countries, besides the Netherlands and Belgium. And I hope to see you back really soon.

I: Thank you very much for the interview!

AN CAFE: Thank you!
